Or equivalent. We have Directv & love this feature. Like with the movie theater, I got used to being able to pause & rewind.

I have two, neither connected because I wouldn't have a clue how, but watch Prime, Netflix etc on my laptop

I don't use a DVR...no clue how to even get it working.. lol
But, my daughter tells me it's easy and I would like it once I got used to it :-)

It is very easy to do in some boxes. For some, it is tedious when they decide to save some money with the design.

I used to use a DVR a lot. However, nowadays, I don't have satellite TV. In that case, I cannot use a DVR - as a Roku setup doesn't have one. Well, I kind of miss it, but then again, so much on the Roku is "on demand". In other words, you can watch it whenever you want to.
